Embedded Systems Software Engineer at SHOTOVER

Enhance airborne camera technology with SHOTOVER Systems as a Software Engineer in Embedded Systems Design. This full-time role involves developing cutting-edge control algorithms and firmware for gyro-stabilized systems. In this critical position based in Hamilton, you will design, implement, and test advanced control systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to innovate solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a solid technical foundation and proactive problem-solving skills to the table. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement control systems for gimbals
• Write Embedded Linux software and kernel drivers
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive new features
• Analyze system performance and optimize software
• Conduct real-time testing and debugging Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant fields
• 3+ years of embedded systems experience
• Solid understanding of C++ and control theory
• Experience with real-time debugging and networking
