Job Description

Lead business architecture, requirements, and functional solution design for enterprise Pega transformation initiatives in banking, serving as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 8–10 years of hands-on Pega PRPC experience across Pega 7.x/8.x and Pega Infinity 23.x/24.x/25.x.

• 8+ years in Banking and Financial Services, including at least 3 years in AML/KYC, compliance, customer due diligence, or related operations.

• Pega Certified Lead Business Architect (CLBA) required; PCBA and CSSA are preferred.

• Experience delivering enterprise workflow, case management, and globally distributed programs.

Must-Have Technical & Functional Skills

• Pega Constellation UI, Pega Blueprint, Case Management, workflow automation, decisioning, and business rules.

• Customer Service framework experience; exposure to Smart Investigate and Smart Dispute.

• Business process modeling, journey mapping, requirements elicitation, user stories, use cases, gap analysis, and process reengineering.

• Working knowledge of Pega flows, UI rules, data pages, correspondence, data models, and REST/SOAP integrations.

• Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Jira, Kanban, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT.

• Strong banking knowledge across AML/KYC, compliance, onboarding, investigations, disputes, and customer service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessions; translate business needs into scalable Pega features and prioritized backlogs.

• Define current-state and future-state processes, journey maps, business rules, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and traceability.

• Partner with Product Owners, Pega System Architects, and developers to align functional design with enterprise architecture and delivery standards.

• Configure and validate workflows, case types, UI components, data pages, data models, and integrations; support Constellation-based modernization.

• Conduct gap analysis and recommend automation, process, control, and customer-experience improvements.

• Ensure adherence to Pega Guardrails, governance standards, and delivery best practices throughout the lifecycle.

• Manage Jira and Kanban structures; participate in planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and dependency/risk tracking.

• Coordinate daily with onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams and communicate status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Support system integration testing, UAT, defect triage, release readiness, deployment, and validation against business requirements.
