Our client is a well-established electrical contractor delivering commercial electrical projects across British Columbia. Known for its structured project delivery, strong safety culture, and long-term employee development, the company continues to grow its project delivery team to support an active pipeline of work.
Your new role
As a Project Coordinator, you will support Project Managers and Superintendents in the successful execution of commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through to closeout. This is a hands-on coordination role requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to read and review electrical drawings, and confidence working across internal teams, suppliers, and site personnel.
You will play a key role in maintaining project documentation, supporting procurement and scheduling, tracking costs and materials, and ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3–5 years of experience in construction administration or project coordination, ideally within the electrical or construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
- Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with Project Managers, Superintendents, Administrators, suppliers, and clients
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
- College diploma or equivalent relevant experience
