Salary: $65,348 – $79,199 annually , commensurate with qualifications and experience

We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Manager, Quality & Compliance (Clinical Services) to support quality, safety, accreditation, and clinical reporting across our growing organization.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Director, Clinical Services, the Manager, Quality & Compliance (Clinical Services) coordinates Hospice Niagara's clinical quality, accreditation, compliance, documentation, and reporting activities across our residential hospice sites and community programs.

Working closely with Directors of Care, clinical leaders, and interdisciplinary teams, you will support continuous quality improvement, accreditation readiness, clinical policy management, documentation standards, and organizational reporting. Your work will help ensure Hospice Niagara continues to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care while meeting legislative, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex processes, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, using data to support decision-making, and contributing to organizational excellence.

What You'll Do

As Manager, Quality & Compliance (Clinical Services), you will:

• Coordinate quality improvement initiatives that support safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

• Coordinate Accreditation Canada activities, including planning, documentation, evidence collection, and follow-up.

• Support the review, maintenance, and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and practice guidelines.

• Coordinate clinical incident reporting, quality audits, and related follow-up activities.

• Monitor and report on clinical quality indicators, trends, and program outcomes.

• Prepare and coordinate reports, dashboards, and presentations for Senior Leadership, Board Committees, funders, accreditation bodies, and other stakeholders.

• Support consistent clinical documentation and reporting practices across multiple hospice locations.

• Coordinate quality and reporting activities related to new programs, services, and organizational growth.

• Support grant and program reporting through the coordination of clinical data and outcome measures.

• Collaborate with clinical leaders, Information Technology, and interdisciplinary teams to support clinical information systems and documentation practices.

• Serve as the Management Representative on the Joint Health & Safety Committee.

• Support education and continuous learning related to quality improvement, accreditation, documentation, and compliance.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who is collaborative, organized, and passionate about improving healthcare quality.

You will have:

• A university degree in Nursing (RN), Social Work (MSW), Public Health, Health Sciences, or another relevant health-related discipline.

• Current registration in good standing with the applicable professional regulatory college, where required.

• Three to five years of experience in a healthcare environment with exposure to quality improvement, accreditation, clinical documentation, healthcare reporting, or healthcare compliance.

• Experience coordinating quality improvement initiatives, accreditation activities, or clinical reporting.

• Experience working with electronic health records, healthcare data, and reporting systems.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports and presentations.

• The ability to build collaborative relationships and support change through influence and partnership.

• Experience in hospice palliative care, community healthcare, or a multi-site healthcare organization would be considered an asset.

• Certification in CPHQ, Lean, Six Sigma, or another quality improvement methodology would be considered an asset.

• A valid Ontario driver's licence and the ability to travel between Hospice Niagara locations.
