Senior Executive Protection Officer

TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Executive Protection Officer in Toronto, Ontario for one of its valued partners.

In this role, you will provide hands-on executive and close protection support to high-profile individuals, including protective assignments, advance planning, secure transportation, travel security, threat identification, and event support.
Schedule: Full-time; flexibility required for evenings, weekends, holidays, travel, and changing assignments.

Senior Executive Protection Officer Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on executive and close protection services for high-profile individuals
• Support protective details involving daily movements, meetings, corporate functions, special events, and travel
• Conduct advance work, including site assessments, route planning, venue reviews, and security coordination
• Identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and security concerns and implement appropriate preventative measures
• Support threat and risk assessments and the development of protection plans
• Provide secure transportation and conduct primary and alternate route planning
• Coordinate with protection teams, internal security, law enforcement, venues, and external security partners
• Support domestic and international travel security assignments
• Respond effectively to incidents, changing circumstances, and emerging security concerns
• Complete incident reports, security documentation, and post-assignment reporting
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, discretion, and integrity

Senior Executive Protection Officer Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in executive protection, close protection, military, law enforcement, intelligence, corporate security, or a related environment
• Demonstrated experience protecting senior executives, high-profile individuals, government officials, public figures, or high-net-worth clients
• Strong knowledge of executive protection principles, protective operations, and security best practices
• Experience conducting advance work, route planning, site assessments, threat identification, and risk assessments
• Domestic and/or international travel security experience is considered a strong asset
• Strong situational awareness, judgment, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in high-pressure and rapidly changing environments
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, emotional intelligence, and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an executive protection team
• Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules, travel, and assignments on short notice
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
• Valid Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
• Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C or higher
• Use of Force and Handcuffing Certification
• Recognized executive protection or close protection training/certification is considered a strong asset
• Ability to obtain required international travel documentation and security clearances
