Our client, in the equipment rental and outdoor maintenance industry, is seeking a Yard worker - Equipment to join their team. As a Yard worker - Equipment, you will be part of the operations team supporting outdoor work and equipment management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Yard worker - Equipment
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Shift: Start at 8am
What's the Job?
- Assist with equipment rentals and returns, ensuring proper handling and documentation
- Operate forklifts safely to move and organize equipment within the yard
- Perform maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Support outdoor work activities, including loading and unloading materials
- Adhere to fall protection and aerial certification standards during tasks
What's Needed?
- No prior experience required; training will be provided
- Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment safely
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good physical condition to handle outdoor tasks
- Commitment to safety protocols and certifications
