Retail Store Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Retail Store Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep appreciation for interior design. This role requires excellent communication skills, fluency in English, and a flair for graphic design. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, advising on products, assisting with various store and account management tasks, and contributing to different projects within the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Store Representation: Serve as the face of our store, welcoming and assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Sales: Drive sales through effective customer engagement, product knowledge, and personalized recommendations.
• Product Advisor: Provide expert advice on our product range, understanding customer needs, and suggesting suitable products to enhance their living spaces.
• Store Assistance: Maintain the store's visual merchandising, ensuring displays are attractive and up-to-date. Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Account Management: Manage customer accounts, track orders, and handle any inquiries or issues with professionalism and efficiency.
• Project Assistance: Collaborate on various projects within the store, from promotional events to seasonal displays and marketing initiatives.
• Graphic Design (Preferable): Utilize graphic design skills to create visually appealing promotional materials, social media content, and in-store displays.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Sales Expertise: Proven experience in sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Customer Service: Strong ability to connect with customers and provide outstanding service.
• Interior Design Knowledge: A genuine passion for interior design with an understanding of current trends and styles.
• Graphic Design: Proficiency in graphic design is highly preferable. Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is a plus.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
• Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and positive approach.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.30-$18.00 per hour

Day range:

• Every Weekend
• Monday to Friday

Shift:

• 4 hour shift
• Afternoon shift

• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• sales: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• Fluent English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
