Senior Contract Specialist

Cencora seeks a Senior Contract Specialist to manage contract review, negotiation, and execution across business units. This remote role in Ontario requires drafting contracts, assessing legal and business risks, and coordinating approvals while collaborating with procurement, legal, and operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Review contracts for legal and business risks, including indemnity, liability, intellectual property, and payment terms
- Negotiate contracts and subcontracts; coordinate all contract execution and approvals
- Communicate contract impact and legal implications to management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with procurement, legal, finance, and operations teams to standardize contract templates and processes
- Monitor contract performance and compliance using reporting tools and scorecards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, law, or related field
- 3-5 years of direct contracting environment experience
- Proven contract drafting and review experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Legal background or law clerk training/certification preferred
- Proficiency with Excel and company software systems
- Ability to work independently and manage negotiations confidently
