Legal Support Technician in Software Industry

Join GIRO as a Legal Support Technician and play a crucial role in contract management within the tech industry. Enjoy the flexibility of remote work while enhancing legal compliance. Reporting to the Director, Client Contracts and Partnerships, you will provide essential legal support to various teams, ensuring effective contract management and compliance efforts. With 3-5 years of experience, you'll assist in document preparation and facilitate inter-departmental collaboration. Your expertise in contract law and technology will be pivotal in maintaining legal files and managing contracts efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and prepare summaries
Coordinate with clients and suppliers on documents
Update policies and procedures as necessary
Maintain contract template library
Assist in interpreting contractual obligations

Requirements:

DEC in Paralegal Technology or equivalent
3-5 years in a similar legal role
Knowledge of commercial practices in Quebec
Strong proficiency in French and solid English skills
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks
