Construction Director in Toronto

Lead major construction projects as the Construction Director in Toronto with Aecon. This role focuses on pre-execution planning, site supervision, and ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld. As the Construction Director, you will report directly to the Project Director and oversee all aspects of site execution for major projects. You will prepare a skilled construction team, manage labor relations, and collaborate with engineering staff to confirm design constructability. Your primary responsibilities include supervising direct-hire and subcontracted labor, ensuring site safety, and maintaining quality standards at all times. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and staff a proficient construction team
• Liaise with engineering to ensure constructable designs
• Develop a hiring plan and manage labor relations

Requirements:

• Over 15 years in self-perform construction management
