.Net Developer -Banking

About the Role

We are looking for a .NET Developer to join our growing team in Canada, supporting high-impact initiatives in Capital Markets and FinTech. You will play a key role in building scalable, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems, working with large data sets and modern engineering practices.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment, values clean and maintainable code, and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust distributed applications using modern .NET technologies
• Work with large-scale data systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, risk, and technology) to deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure code quality, testing, and maintainability through best practices and standards
• Contribute to system architecture and continuously improve engineering approaches
• Deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines and competing priorities

Must-Have Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of hands-on programming experience in:
  • C#
  • Modern .NET (.NET Core, .NET 5/6+)
• Proven experience building resilient distributed systems
• Strong experience working with large datasets
• Demonstrated commitment to clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
• Highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

Nice to Have

• Experience in Capital Markets or FinTech environments
• Exposure to Risk Systems and/or Pricing Model Integration
• Strong interest in large-scale software architecture and system design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Java / Spring Boot, or willingness to learn
• Exposure to Generative AI (Gen AI) technologies or use cases

Work Model

• Hybrid work model – mandatory presence in office
• Must be based in or able to commute to Toronto or Montreal

Salary Range

• 85-100k/year
