Hybrid Senior Analyst - Data Governance

Become a key player in data governance at Sun Life as a Hybrid Senior Data Governance Analyst. Oversee critical data management initiatives and support governance frameworks across Canadian operations. This role, reporting to the Director of Data Governance & Data Enablement, involves executing and operationalizing data governance programs. You’ll manage the Data Governance Council and enhance data quality management through collaboration with data engineering and business intelligence teams. Ensure effective policy implementation and stakeholder support for data initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage enterprise data governance policies
- Oversee the Regional Data Governance Council's efforts
- Develop and validate data quality controls and frameworks
- Collaborate with teams on governance dashboards and reports
- Provide guidance on compliance related to data management
- Minimum 5 years in data governance, ideally in financial sectors
- Experience with governance tools such as AWS, Collibra
- Understanding of data management processes and SQL
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and management
- University degree in a relevant field required
