Physiotherapist
Vitalis Health Strategies
About the Opportunity
Vitalis Health Strategies is recruiting on behalf of Caris Medical Clinic Ltd., a private primary care practice in Calgary, Alberta. Caris is a physician-led clinic committed to delivering unhurried, relationship-based care to a defined patient population. The practice operates with an emphasis on thoroughness, accessibility, and coordination — offering patients longer appointments, same or next-day access, and a higher standard of continuity than is typically available in conventional primary care settings.
The clinic is led by Dr. Kiely Williams and supported by a small, close-knit team that takes pride in doing things properly. This is a practice where the patient relationship matters, where your clinical opinion is respected, and where your work connects meaningfully to the broader care plan.
Vitalis Health Strategies is actively recruiting a Registered Physiotherapist to join the Caris team in an in-clinic allied health capacity.
Why Caris?
Physiotherapists who join Caris step into an environment that is fundamentally different from high-volume clinic settings. The patient population is engaged, proactive about their health, and motivated to participate in their rehabilitation. You will work alongside physicians who are interested in collaborative care.
Practice Overview - Caris Medical Clinic Ltd. — Calgary, AB
Caris operates out of a single Calgary location and serves a defined patient panel of adults seeking proactive, comprehensive primary care. The clinic offers a broad scope of physician services including chronic disease management, preventive health, executive physicals, and care coordination. Allied health integration — including physiotherapy — is a core part of how the clinic delivers on its care model.
The physiotherapist at Caris works within a collaborative, physician-supported environment, with access to shared clinical information and a cohesive care team. Patients referred for physiotherapy are typically those with musculoskeletal complaints, post-surgical rehabilitation needs, chronic pain conditions, workplace or sports injuries, and postural or functional concerns related to sedentary professional lifestyles.
Position Details
We are recruiting for the following engagement type, and welcome conversations with candidates whose preferences differ:
- Part-Time Physiotherapist (primary): Scheduled in-clinic hours aligned with clinic operations. Suitable for candidates seeking a consistent, relationship-based caseload within a single practice environment — whether as a primary role or alongside an existing practice.
- Sessional / Flexible: Block-based scheduling for candidates who wish to contribute on a defined day-of-week basis or integrate Caris into a broader portfolio of clinical work.
We are open to creative arrangements. If you are an experienced physiotherapist with an interest in collaborative primary care, we encourage a conversation regardless of your current scheduling situation.

- Education and self-management support for patients with chronic pain or recurrent injury
- Collaboration with the physician on shared patients, including participation in care planning discussions
- Timely clinical documentation and coordination of care notes
- Contribution to a patient experience that reflects the clinic's standards for attentiveness and professionalism
Qualifications Required
- Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta (CPA)
