We’re looking for a Store Manager for The Shoe Co. banner who will put their best foot forward.
Responsibilities
- Assumes leadership role with accountability for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional Customer experiences.
- Facilitates achievement of business results by role modelling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive Customer service, compelling merchandise presentation and operational integrity that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty.
- Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
- Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a love of shoes.
- Achieves company objectives and enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/humility.
- Develops and implement agile business plans to achieve results.
- Fosters teamwork, collaboration and change advocacy within the store and district.
- Maintain effective, open lines of communication with Senior Operational Managers.
Qualifications
- Educational background: relevant post-secondary education.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a progressive retail supervisory role.
- Proven success in the achievement of sales and profitability targets in large volume top doors.
- Positive and energetic team player with a strong leadership capability.
- Proven ability to motivate others.
- Proficiency in computer use, including e‑mail, MS Word or other word processing program and Excel or other spreadsheet programs.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while also being committed to creating a compelling customer experience.
- Ability to work days, closing shifts and weekends.
- Mobile within a geographic area.

Pay: $47,880 to $53,200 per year.
