We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team in Brampton since 2007. To join 3 Naturopathic Doctors, Osteopath, Psychotherapist and Reiki Therapist. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to health and healing, utilizing your expertise to make a positive impact on clients' lives.
Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and goals
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatments and progress.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and post-treatment recommendations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment following health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support comprehensive client care
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements to maintain licensure
Experience
- Valid licensure and insurance as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with Ontario.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health histories
- Proven experience providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare or wellness setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to listen attentively and tailor treatments based on individual needs and preferences
- Prior experience working with diverse populations is preferred but not required
