Material Processor and Reciver

Job Responsibility:
Material Processor and Receiver for Indoor Metal Recycling Facility, starting immediately.
As a material processor and receiver, you will be essential in managing the flow of materials and ensuring high-quality materials for recycling. Your core responsibilities will be to receive, process and prepare shipments of recycled materials. Join us to contribute to a sustainable recycling process.
Responsibilities:
- Receive material and separate by grade and type for both the public and industrial customers.
- Deliver a high level of customer service as customers enter our facility.
- Manual sorting of materials to upgrade materials and prepare for final processing.
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to load/unload trucks and move materials around the facility.
- Maintain a clean facility to ensure a safe environment.
- Occasional driver for small delivery trucks to make pick up and deliveries.
- General help as required around the plant.
Qualifications:
- Excellent English communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of different grades of non-ferrous metals
- Demonstrate attention to details
- A forklift license and a valid G driver's license are required.
- Ability to withstand dirty environments with hot/cold temperatures
Safety equipment will be provided.
Competitive compensation starts at $20/hr and up based on experience. Performance-based increases.
On-the-job training with opportunity for job progression.
Change rooms, lockers, lunchroom with fridge and microwave
