Grain Buyer

JGL Commodities is seeking a motivated, relationship-focused Grain Buyer to join our growing team in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will build producer relationships, originate grain, negotiate purchases, support logistics, and identify market opportunities across Western Canada.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain producer and customer relationshipsOriginate grain and negotiate purchase contracts
Provide grain marketing support and market insight
Monitor commodity markets and trends
Coordinate grain movement with transportation and internal teams
Maintain accurate contracts and customer records
Support business growth and process improvements Qualifications Experience in grain buying, merchandising, ag retail, commodity trading, or a related agriculture role is an asset
Strong knowledge of prairie agriculture and grain markets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel Candidates from Lloydminster, Macklin, Provost, Oyen, Consort, Wainwright, Viking, Unity, Maidstone, Turtleford, and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply; all qualified applicants will be considered.
