Job Responsibility:
Blue Mussel Cafe is seeking a cook to work in our food trailer. No experience necessary, we will train. Duties involve making lobster rolls, charcuterie boards, tacos and shucking oysters. You will also be responsible for serving customers, taking orders, and selling merchandise. This is a summer position only.
** Must be over 19 years of age**
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality of food meets the highest standards of freshness and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
**Requirements:**
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation
Job Types: Full-time, SeasonalContract length: 3 months
Pay: $15.40-$17.00 per hour
