Full-Time Advanced Care Paramedic Role
Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board
Make a significant impact as an Advanced Care Paramedic in the Manitoulin Service Area. Deliver critical medical care while advocating for patients' needs in this full-time position. This permanent role requires strong advocacy and communication skills, allowing you to provide both primary and advanced medical care. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you will report directly to the Deputy Chief of Paramedic Services. A background in primary care paramedicine is preferred to excel in this patient-centric position. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide timely advanced medical care during emergencies
• Conduct patient transportation to healthcare facilities
• Advocate for patient needs and concerns effectively
• Ensure compliance with health standards and legislation
• Facilitate communication across healthcare networks Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved paramedic program
• Ontario Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant registration
• Certification as an Advanced Care Paramedic
• Minimum one year of relevant experience
