Computational Biologist and AI Model Trainer

Become a pivotal force in AI model training at DataAnnotation as a Computational Biologist. Utilize your expertise to design tasks, grade AI performance, and ensure biological data accuracy. At DataAnnotation, we seek a skilled Computational Biologist or Bioinformatician to refine AI model capabilities. In this remote role, you will create analysis tasks from your practice, running them through advanced AI systems. Your professional judgment will set benchmarks, essential for ecosystem reliability and data management. Key Responsibilities:
- Design analysis tasks from real-world workflows
- Run tasks through AI agents and assess results
- Write grading rubrics for evaluation clarity
- Flag discrepancies with concrete evidence
- Leverage expertise in genomics, transcriptomics, or multiomics
- 3+ years analyzing biological data in a professional setting
- Proficient in Python and/or R for data analysis
- Expertise in genomics, transcriptomics, or ML in biology
- Experience with multistep analyses from data to conclusions
- Master's or PhD in a relevant field from U.S., Canada, or Europe
