Board Governance Specialist at CBA

Elevate governance processes at the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) as a Board Governance Specialist. This role requires bilingual skills and supports the Executive Team and Board members with precision. The Specialist reports directly to the CEO and is entrusted with confidential governance support for the President and National Board of Directors. This pivotal position demands advanced organizational and interpersonal skills, ensuring high-quality support across various governance functions. Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate communication between the CEO and the Board of Directors
Administer support for agendas, minutes, and meeting logistics
Maintain and curate governance records and documents
Manage budget preparation and election processes
Coordinate travel and meeting arrangements for executives

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years in governance or executive support roles
Bilingual fluency in English and French
Strong financial skills with experience in budget management
Proven ability to multitask and work independently
