Global Public Sector Sales Vice President

Lead global public sector sales growth at Cohere, combining enterprise go-to-market strategy with executive leadership. Work remotely or from a Cohere office.
As Vice President of Sales, Global Public Sector, you will develop acquisition strategies and expand Cohere’s public sector presence. The role requires sales leadership, revenue growth experience, and cross-functional influence. You will guide teams toward revenue targets and organizational goals while developing long-term customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop global public sector go-to-market growth strategies
- Lead sales planning and drive revenue growth
- Provide operational leadership to the public sector team
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Engineering
- Manage government relationships and negotiate high-value deals
Requirements:
- 10+ years of public sector sales leadership experience
- Network across agencies, contractors, and industry associations
- Defense and Intelligence community experience
- Consultative solution sales and capture leadership
- Willingness to travel 25-40%
