Join our team as a temporary, full-time Storesperson , where you'll play a key role in ensuring materials, equipment, and supplies are received, stored, tracked, and distributed efficiently to support City operations.
In this hands-on role, you'll receive and inspect deliveries, issue inventory, perform cycle counts, maintain accurate inventory records, and safely operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. You'll also help organize warehouse storage, identify obsolete or low-stock items, and assist with the safe handling and transportation of materials, including dangerous goods. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
Completion of senior secondary school or its equivalent.

• Valid BC Driver’s Licence - Class 5.
• Completion of a minimum of two courses within SCMA - Supply Management Training;
• Proficient in basic Word and basic Excel as demonstrated through testing. (This is a unionized position with CUPE Local 900; This position will receive 14% in lieu of all benefits, vacation, stat holidays, and health time.

Please note that this is a temporary position until approximately October 23, 2026.
Hourly Rate
$Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
