Software Development Engineer - Cybersecurity

CIRA’s Cyber-DNS team is looking for a motivated software developer with deep expertise in cybersecurity. This role will focus on developing and managing advanced cybersecurity products and backend services while mentoring junior developers. In a collaborative environment, you will address complex issues and drive quality improvements together with your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity applications
- Mentor developers and maintain coding standards
- Support CI/CD automation and cloud deployment
- Investigate security vulnerabilities and improve system interoperability
- Document systems processes and maintain technical clarity
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Advanced skills in Java or Python
- Familiarity with Bash for automation
- Understanding of DNS and networking protocols
