This role reports to: Production Supervisor

Job Overview: In this role, you will play a crucial part in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality components and products, ensuring they meet precise specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in welding and mechanical assembly, along with a commitment to safety and efficiency. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician/Welder to join our dynamic team.
Read and understand fabrication blueprints/drawings.
Performs all mechanical assembly operations of sub-assemblies and package assembly, and functional test set up including in-process quality checks and tests.
Operate welding equipment (manual or semi-automatic), metal shaping machines;
Ensuring that all tasks are performed in the allotted time provided and in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies and procedures;
Operates forklift, hand truck, and/or other material handling equipment to move material as required.
Basic maintenance of welding equipment.
As required, operate metal working equipment including, press brake, saws, etc.
Masking and painting of some parts as required
Technical trade school in welding/mechanics
Minimum 1-2 years of mechanical assembly, welding experience.
Basic computer knowledge
Experience and ability to read and understand fabrication prints;
Ability to operate forklift and cranes (training provided by company)
~ Capable of adhering to safety standards and company policies.
