Student Recruitment & Admissions at Simon Fraser University is often the front door for newly admitted students as they embark upon their academic journey. The Student Recruitment unit is dedicated to an inclusive and accessible approach to assisting prospective students in finding the best fit program for their post secondary journey. We seek to be student-centred in our policies and procedures to meet a diverse applicant community and are proactive and responsive in our effort to support enrolment management at the institutional level.
The Manager, Student Recruitment is responsible for assisting with the strategic development, implementation, and operation of off-campus student recruitment programs and services for undergraduate students within all faculties at all campuses. The position leads strategic recruitment to inform future activities and admission practices by liaising with Faculties, other units in Student Services, and all undergraduate program areas across the University, to ensure programs and services follow institutional objectives related to student recruitment and admission practices. The Manager plans, executes and assesses recruiting services at a variety of educational, community, and professional settings domestically and internationally and develops performance measures and benchmarks to assess program effectiveness while assisting with the design and development of evaluation tools and broader assessment strategies.
