Ce poste effectuera une grande variété détudes minéralogiques au microscope et à laide dinstruments sur des minerais de métaux communs et précieux des minéraux industriels et dautres matériaux. Le titulaire du poste peut gérer de petits projets et aider à coordonner et à superviser les technologues et les techniciens de projets connexes sous la direction de la haute direction.
Contribuer aux projets minéralogiques afin doptimiser la satisfaction des clients et la rentabilité des projets.
Planifier organiser et coordonner des projets de laboratoire à petite échelle.
Aide à la compilation et à lanalyse des données minéralogiques.
Aider à la planification des travaux dessais minéralogiques.
Vérifier et compiler des données et établir des rapports de données.
Responsable de la qualité et de la réalisation en temps opportun des rapports minéralogiques techniques ainsi que de la facturation associée.
Sassurer de la bonne utilisation de toutes les installations instruments et équipements utilisés au cours dun projet.
Résoudre de manière constructive les problèmes de travail là où ils se présentent et recommander des mesures de travail pour améliorer la productivité et la qualité des résultats.
Possibilité de se rendre dans dautres laboratoires de minéraux de SGS au Canada ou à létranger dans le cadre daffectations à court terme ou à long terme dans le cadre dune initiative stratégique.
Sil y a lieu être affecté à des projets spéciaux ou ponctuels et les coordonner au besoin.
Formation : Un diplôme universitaire en minéralogie en géologie en minéralogie environnementale en sciences du sol ou en sciences de la Terre est exigé.
Les candidats doivent maîtriser lutilisation de divers types de logiciels informatiques (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.).
Capacité à réaliser des projets de manière indépendante ou avec un minimum de supervision.
Capacité de gérer et de coordonner plusieurs projets dans un environnement hautement professionnel au rythme rapide.
