Host - Evening to Late night

Full Job Description Founded in 1970, Steele Hotels is an independent hotel operator based out of Newfoundland and Labrador Canada. Steele Hotels is looking for a full-time Host to join its growing team at our JAG Hotel in St. This often involves working in fast-paced environment conditions at varying times throughout the day or night.
Maintain a clean and welcoming front-of-house experience and greet guests in a friendly and polite manner
Coordinate with serving staff to ensure efficient seating arrangements
Manage reservations via phone, in-person, on through online platforms
Answer incoming calls and address customer inquiries
Assist with menu inquiries, answering questions about food and beverages, as needed
Availability to work weekday daytime hours, with shifts starting as early as 6:45 a.m., as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required
Experience in hospitality is an asset
Attention to detail in maintaining a tidy, welcoming front-of-house environment
Familiarity with health, safety, and food handling regulations
