E Construction | Roller Operator

Fedorowich Construction Ltd.
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Asphalt Roller Operator to join our paving crew.
The Asphalt Roller Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a vibratory roller to compact asphalt during paving operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in road construction, a strong understanding of compaction techniques, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate asphalt roller to compact hot mix asphalt to required density and specifications
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
- Monitor mat temperature and rolling patterns to ensure proper compaction
- Work closely with the paving foreman and crew to maintain smooth -paving operations
- Identify and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Follow all company safety policies and provincial OH&S regulations
Qualifications
- Experience in road construction and asphalt paving operations
- Valid Class 5 drivers license (Class 1A or 3A considered an asset)
- Ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends during peak season
