We have an immediate opening for a Forklift Operator at our Brampton Extrusion Plant.

The Forklift Driver is responsible to move materials through the plant floor as required, ensuring that the production lines are fully stocked with materials and racks.
Ensure forklift is safe and functioning correctly. bring materials or racks to the production line, move WIP to the appropriate location, and move packaged materials to the designated zones
Ensure all production rack tags are accurate for inventory and material is stacked and stored properly for final delivery to customer
Manually load and unload materials from skids and racks
Accurately weigh and record materials
Responsible to follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act and all Can Art Company Policies
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid forklift license (counterbalance)
Minimum 2 years' experience driving a forklift
Experience in a manufacturing plant is an asset
Experience with a combi lift is an asset
Must be able to read and write in English
Team player that is able to work with little to no supervision
Twelve hour rotating continental shift (2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights)
