Wood is recruiting Project Engineers (Mechanical / Civil and Electrical / Instrumentation) to join our Oil, Gas & New Energies team in Edmonton, AB.
The Project Engineer will assist with overall project engineering management for the delivery of projects in terms of cost, schedule, technical conformance, HSSEA (Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Assurance), quality, ensure compliance with company procedures, support delivery of engineering excellence through coordination of single discipline engineering deliverables.

Coordinate multi discipline input to engineering deliverables including Process/Utility Flow Diagrams, Engineering Flow Diagrams and, Line Lists, Equipment Lists, Special Piping Item Lists and Requisition Index.
Coordinate input of single engineering discipline within multiple office locations
Follow and deliver against project engineering manhour budget and schedule requirements
Alert more senior project engineering personnel in the event of potential delays or changes
Change Management: Support implementation of approved changes
Coordinate work of small team of technical professionals in the delivery of project engineering deliverables; At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. Eng. is mandatory with 4 to 7 years of broad experience in Oil, Gas & Chemicals projects and a background in mechanical / civil engineering or in electrical / instrumentation engineering
Must possess a high degree of originality, skill, and proficiency in the various broad phases of engineering application and knowledge of quality management
Eligibility for registration in the USA will be considered an asset but is not required.
Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood now or in the future is required
