Occupational Therapist I - Rehabilitation Oncology

As an academic teaching hospital, we are deeply committed to advancing learning, research, and innovation in patient care while contributing to the development of a broad range of health professionals. This position is within our Central Therapy Department, offering you the opportunity to support various units within our hospital.
Your ability to think on your feet and modify therapy approaches based on patient progress and needs will be crucial, allowing you to create tailored interventions that truly resonate with your patients.

Assess, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment interventions utilizing sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practices
Collaborate with interprofessional team to develop comprehensive care plans, transition planning and engage in patient education as required
Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in the delivery of Occupational therapy care plan
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in alignment with college and hospital standards
Shift: Alternating weekends
University degree from a recognized Occupational Therapy Program
Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history
