Licensed Practical Nurse - Testing
Horizon Health Network
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, provides quality patient care within the scope of professional nursing practice.
Minimum 1 year recent and direct experience (within last 5 years) in Mental Health, obstetrical, haemodialysis, medical/surgical, etc. A combination of relevant work experience and related education training will be considered.
Demonstrated assessment skills and ability to respond to emergent situations and prioritize care.
Patient Care:
Prioritizes and delivers care to patients within a collaborative setting, seeking clinical guidance as required.
Provides holistic patient care and therapeutic measures to meet patient care needs
Participates in the development of the plan of care in collaboration with the health care team, patients, and family members.
Utilizes resources within the hospital and community to meet the health care and educational needs of patients and families.
Participates in quality improvement and risk management activities.
