Sales Associate (Retail Store)

Job Brief In this role, you will represent The Carlsberg Group, a globally recognized brewery, selling and merchandising its iconic beer brands across convenience, gas, and select retail outlets.

The Role: Carlsberg Retail Sales Representative - Windsor -27HRS/Week - 21$/hour +KM reimbursement

You have top-notch communication, relationship-building and planning & organizational skills. You take a consultative, insight-based approach to selling, effectively balancing your customers’ and our clients’ interests to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.

With a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation, the Group operates in over 100 markets and is driven by its purpose: Your role is to identify business development opportunities to drive sales within an assigned geographical territory.

Managing a territory of Convenience & Gas outlets, with the possibility of expanding to other retailers such as grocery, The Beer Store & LCBO accounts to drive sales and execution for the Carlsberg family of brands

Represent Carlsberg brands in a professional manner by providing retail customers with the best service

Developing customer relations to become a trusted advisor

Introducing new products and promotional events into the market

Closing distribution gaps by confirming correct shelf tags are present in compliance with account listing

Ensuring supply availability through merchandising product and checking order / inventory status

Negotiating space for and building displays to maximize points of interruption as well as confirming and correcting previously agreed display implementations

Using sales tools provided to identify opportunities & gaps and determine action plan to drive sales, improve distribution, recognize underperforming categories, and increase overall profitability in your territory

Recognizing and utilizing regional sales trends in order to maximize in-store performance

Providing feedback and insight on retail conditions and/or issues as they are encountered

Ideally 1-3 years of territory sales and merchandising experience in CPG or at C&G

Amazing relationship building skills

Strong personal drive, positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills are essential

Aptitude for fast learning, careful strategic planning and ability to self-support with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

High-speed internet with WiFi at home

The ability to store some supplies at home and transport them in your vehicle

Some overnight travel may be required in remote areas
