Field Manager

We are seeking a temporary replacement for an upcoming maternity/parental leave.
Field Manager – Contract (18 months)

You will contribute to Carlton Cards’ success by maximizing business growth through exceptional customer service to both chain and independent stores within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for thorough planning & preparation, executing daily sales calls, building relationships, communicating store findings, driving incremental display space, daily utilization of all field level tools and the management of a team of merchandisers. Contribute to corporate financial goals by achieving service model goals and key metrics as well as manage expense, merchandiser and credit budgets

• Execute with excellence including selling & presenting key account, trade marketing, promotions, point-of-sale material and display vehicles
• Foster relationships and drive growth in all assigned accounts within your territory
• Use vision to find opportunity within new and existing accounts
• Be the eyes and ears of Carlton Cards at store-level reporting on customer, consumer and competitor activity.

University degree or college diploma in Business or related field is preferred; or a combination of education and related work experience

• Energetic, self-motivated and results orientated with a clear focus on high performance
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, as well as demonstrated effective time management skills, including the ability to multi-task
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Out of town and overnight travel will be required; air travel may include smaller aircrafts
• Must possess a valid passport or ability to obtain appropriate travel documents
