Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to

Responsibilities:
Develop instrumentation for astronomical observation and analysis
Carry out analysis of research data and prepare research reports
Design and conduct research in experimental and theoretical physics
Participate as a member of a research or development team in the
design and development of experimental, industrial, or medical
equipment, instrumentation and procedures
Propose improvements to methods, systems and procedures
Conduct literature reviews, surveys, laboratory experiments and other
research for use in academic publications
Analyze technical documents and reports
Analyze test results and instrument readings
Analyze equipment readings and production test samples
Investigate electrical or electronic failures
Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results
Conduct micro- or nanodevice simulations, characterization, process
modeling and integration in the development of new electronic devices
and products
Research and report on developments in specialized fields such as
medicine, science and technology
Research technical information to design, develop and test
computer-based systems
