Civil Engineering Technician - (Telework)

Spread across several offices we provide consulting and plant engineering services primarily to clients in the region and the Far North. We offer expertise and a diverse range of services in various disciplines including building infrastructure transportation mining and environmental sectors. As a Civil Engineering Technician your responsibilities will vary by season:
Summer Season:
Perform site supervision;
Maintain the site journal;
Ensure project follow-up with the project manager and various stakeholders;
Verify installed quantities;
Review technical sheets and shop drawings.
Winter Season:

• 3D modeling of projects including piping roads and landscaping;
• College diploma (DEC) in civil engineering;

Valid Class 5 drivers license;
ASP Construction card;
Strong organizational and planning skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel);
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software;
Willingness to travel to various sites in Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Northern Québec.
Site supervision is primarily in remote areas on fly-in fly-out rotations with duration determined by project needs. Transportation to the site will be provided by the company.
