Project Structural Engineer

Youll be the technical anchor on projects mentor junior team members and collaborate with contractors architects and internal teams to deliver excellent work while creating a culture of support and growth.
In your first year at co-elevate you will become a trusted technical leader - providing engineering oversight on projects mentoring team members and helping to strengthen our internal systems and standards. Youll play a key role in raising the technical bar across the company while building strong relationships with clients and collaborators.
Licensed Professional Engineer (.) Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering
Experience acting as Engineer of Record on a range of projects
Strong knowledge of Building Codes and relevant CSA Standards
Proficient with structural analysis and design software (ETABS SAFE SAP2000 RISA3D etc.)
Able to define clear goals navigate complex challenges and see projects through to completion
A strong communicator who collaborates well with clients contractors and teammates
Excited to work in-office in London Kitchener or St. bonus points for
Experience with construction review or site coordination
A passion for building relationships with clients and contributing to long-term partnerships
A desire to shape the future of structural engineering at a growing people-first company
Attend a stand-up meeting with your scrum team to discuss yesterdays challenges and plan for the days tasks.
Provide meaningful oversight and mentorship of less experienced staff by providing engineering guidance and reviewing calculation packages.
A daily break for a game of Table Tennis hitting the Golf Sim (London) or adding to the ongoing puzzle is always welcomed.
Participate in one of co-elevates charity causes such as blood drives toy drives food drives or seasonal in-house charity events.
Conduct drawing review to ensure conformance to designs and seal drawings as needed.
