Electricians Journeyman 2nd 3rdand 4th Year Apprentices
We are seeking skilled Journeyman and Electrical Apprentices to join our growing team. We specialize in new construction builds and the maintenance repair and installation of electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications. We promote working safely and efficiently with a keen eye on keeping customers equipment running well.
Cut thread bend assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings
Pull wire and cable through conduits position maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches relays circuit breaker panels and fuse enclosures install single and multi-wire cables above and underground install data cabling and install and maintain fiber optic and signaling systems
Work in the full range of environmental conditions: including outside in all weather
Install fixtures and devices for industrial applications and systems
Perform well with mechanical ability and a thorough knowledge of the principles of electricity circuitry and power distribution systems and familiarity with the materials and techniques of construction
Certificate of Qualification as a registered Electrical Apprentice in the NSAA required
Knowledge of Nova Scotia Electrical Safety Code Occupational Health and Safety Act and all other applicable legislation required
Building Automation Controls experience
Fire Alarm experience
Experience in Class 1 Division 1
Good writing and verbal communication skills
