Job : The EMT-ACP will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT-ACP will cover standby assignment, as operations require.
Education
- Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP)
Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C)
- Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic/Advanced Care Paramedic (EMT-P/ACP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
Other Education and Training
- Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) certificate acceptable
Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call
- Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.
