Environmental Lab Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Chemist to lead our laboratory operations within the Industrial Waste Division. This is a working supervisor role and is ideal for a technically driven professional who thrives in a hands-on environment ensuring the safe compliant and efficient processing of diverse waste streams.
Verify and categorize waste stream characterization in compliance with Reg. Provide technical expertise to the sales team regarding waste treatment and disposal options
Ensure quality control for all inbound and outbound waste streams
Oversee waste processing activities including bulking blending and neutralization
Degree in Chemistry (Chartered Chemist designation preferred) or Environmental Sciences with strong chemistry background
Minimum 8 years of industry experience in laboratory or hazardous waste management
Strong knowledge of chemistry and hazardous waste treatment processes
Proven leadership skills with experience supervising technical staff
