Hundseth Power Line Construction (HPL) is a Saskatchewan-based, family-owned business, headquartered in Saskatoon , with additional site offices in Regina and Humboldt. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, driving financial strategy, and performance. Working closely with the President and operational leaders, the CFO ensures financial integrity, supports business growth, and provides strategic insight to guide decision-making across all business divisions.
The CFO plays a critical role in bridging finance and operations to drive performance, accountability, and growth.
Key areas of responsibility will include strategic leadership & financial oversight, financial operations, reporting & analytics, cash flow & capital management, financing & insurance, projects & continous improvement, operational & business support, and external stakeholder management.
CPA or CFA designation (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (required)
- 10+ Years in a senior financial leadership role (required)
- Exceptional analytical skills to interpret data and provide practical, working solutions (required).
- Effective communicator, both verbally and written, as well as organizational and stakeholder management skills (required).
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills (required).
- Expert understanding of risk management and internal controls (required).
