Home Center Sales Associate
Wetaskiwin Co-op is recruiting for the position of full-time Home Center Sales Associate at our very busy Home and Building Center, located at 4707 40th Ave in Wetaskiwin, Alberta.
Wetaskiwin Co-op is located in central Alberta operating in 9 locations in 5 communities of Wetaskiwin, Innisfail, Camrose, Edmonton and Falun. We operate in a variety of product lines including consumer hardware, building products, crop inputs, petroleum, liquor and feed manufacturing.

Reporting to the Hardware Manager, the Home Center Sales Associate is a self-motivated individual who has strong attention to detail. This is a full-time permanent position eligible for benefits. Execute sales strategies that support the Wetaskiwin Co-op's vision of growth and sustainability.
Responsible for building strong customer relationships and maintaining an open line of communication with customers and co-workers.
Ensure the quality and condition of all merchandise meets store standards.
Complete up-to-date in-house training and certifications via manuals and videos. Training will be provided to complete special projects, such as onsite or internal installation and staging of hardware products.
You have experience in a customer service environment with proven positive customer interactions.
Experience in Hardware, Retail, and Building Products Sales is considered an asset.
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
Training will be provided to strengthen product knowledge.
