Operations Manager (Labelling)
Our client, a printing and labeling facility, is seeking an operations manager.
- Organize, direct, and control all aspects of daily production, ensuring optimal use of printing equipment and machinery to meet deadlines and high-quality standards;
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, (ex. Directly supervise production heads and staff, participating in hiring, training, performance evaluation, and talent development;
- Implement and enforce robust quality control procedures and health and safety regulations. Lead timely follow-up on workplace incidents and drive safety best practices;
- Work cross-functionally with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment.
Bachelor's in Operations Management, Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Printing Technology, or a related field;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
- Proficiency with production management systems and ERP software;
- In-depth knowledge of flexographic (a must), offset (an asset), and digital printing processes (an asset);
- Able to travel to US once a year;
- Bilingual.
