We are looking for experienced Air Track Drillers to join our team.
The Mainland Group of Companies, is a multidisciplinary construction service provider specializing in all civil works, excavation, shoring and energy works such as site services, residential subdivisions, roads, highways, bridges, natural gas pipelines, commercial site development and large industrial infrastructure projects.

Working as a member of the shoring team, the Airtrac Driller is experienced in performing inspections and pre-trips to ensure the equipment is safe and stays in good condition. Work safely on a construction site and promote a safe work environment adhering to safety policies and procedures including participation in safety meetings
Work with the Foreman and other team members to ensure services are located and ready for drilling, including setup of equipment and safety checks
Understand and have experience with various anchor bar assemblies
Ensure equipment has had pre-trip checks (drill compressors and grout plants) and is set-up correctly
Train other employees and maintain quality results of work
Support other crew members on daily site activities outside of job scope
Experience locating and/or drilling near existing services and other man-made elements
Experienced with drilling in different soil conditions – till, sand, fill, sandstones, etc.
Able to identify all hazards associated with various aspects of working in excavation/shoring projects, as well as correctly communicate safety issues as they arise
First aid, confined space, and fall protection training is an asset
Must be physically fit, able to spend most or all of shift standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and working hands-on in an outdoor environment in all types of weather
Flexible with hours worked, including overtime and weekend work as needed
Unionized base wage of $37.50 per hour (wage subject to negotiation based on candidate's experience), plus 12.5% of gross earnings for vacation / statutory holiday pay.
