Our client Waycon Manufacturing Ltd. based in Penticton BC is a leading industrial equipment and machinery manufacturer serving clients across North America. Known for delivering high-quality custom-built solutions they support a wide range of industries from a two-acre facility equipped with advanced in-house machinery state-of-the-art tooling and cutting-edge engineering technology. Their capabilities span concept design CNC machining fabrication welding painting assembly and testing.
They are seeking a skilled and motivated CWB Certified Welder Journeyman to join their this key role you will perform high-quality welding tasks while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards. Perform a variety of welding techniques on carbon steel stainless steel and aluminum ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards;
Inspect welds to guarantee structural integrity and adherence to technical specifications;
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards;
Maintain a clean organized and safe welding area to enhance safety and productivity;
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize welding processes.
Red Seal Welder and CWB certified (required).
Minimum 5 years of hands-on welding experience.
Proven ability to maintain high-quality standards in all welding tasks.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Competitive hourly wage: $20$40/hour depending on experience and qualifications.
