Part Time Dietary Aide

Reporting to the Food Service Manager, the Dietary Aide is responsible for the provision of highest quality food service to residents, visitors and staff, safe food handling practices and proper sanitation procedures in keeping with Ontario Regulation 243/84 under the Health Protection and Promotion Act (Food Premises). The incumbent is responsible for portioning of meals and desserts, assisting the Cook with food preparation as needed, cleaning dining rooms and serving areas, operation of the dish-washing machine and cleaning equipment. Must be able to read and write English as well as be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Must have training and experience in quantity food production and service.

Must have current Food Handlers Certification.

Must be flexible and able to work to deadlines.

French language skills are an asset.
