Boughton Law is currently seeking a talented Manager Business Development & Marketing to lead our firm-wide marketing business development public relations and communications initiatives. If you are a strategic marketing professional with the ability to elevate our profile and strengthen our market position we would be pleased to hear from you
Develops and executes strategic marketing plans and programs both short-and long-term to support firm-wide lawyer and practice group business development objectives
Fosters business development by designing cross-selling initiatives and developing competitive analysis initiatives
Oversees the development of lawyer marketing and business development plans along with the associated follow-up programs and tactics
Coordinates training and coaching for lawyers on marketing and presentation skills
Coordinates training and coaching for lawyers on marketing and presentation skills
Prepares and administers the firms marketing budget
Directs branding strategy across all external communications and marketing initiatives including the development of strategic messaging
Oversees the firms activities relating to new business proposals pitches and RFPs
Serves as a member of the firms Business Development Committee
Oversees and mentors the Marketing Coordinator
Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field
Marketing management experience is considered a strong asset
Experience within a sophisticated multi-disciplined professional services organization and/or law firm preferred
Proven experience in training mentoring supervising and motivating staff
Excellent communication presentation and writing skills
Strong strategic thinking and project management skills
Proficient technical skills (e.g. Word PowerPoint Adobe WordPress etc.)
Creative mindset with an eye for branding visual design and video storytelling
