As a Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will utilize your sales skills, industry knowledge and experience to grow an existing book of commercial clients. This position is supported by an Account Manager where together the team will deliver an exceptional client experience and take responsibility for the overall growth of the book.
Initiate and develop new commercial client relationships
Complete new business submissions to markets that meet the needs of clients and close the sale
Collaborate with the CL Account Manager on client service requirements
Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding matters, including collecting payments
Up-selling of products and services to new and existing clients
Generate client referrals through community involvement and events
Meet or exceed individual sales targets
Commit to self-development through internal training and industry education
You have a proven track record in commercial insurance sales
You seek out account development opportunities with existing clients
You build relationships within communities, through networking and service, and by supporting local businesses
Experience with Epic is an asset
You have extensive knowledge of insurance company products, programs and payment plans
You have obtained, or are pursuing a Level 2 General Insurance license
