Golf course maintenance including but not limited to, mowing, course set-up, bunker maintenance, aerification, top dressing, irrigation, drainage, horticulture, weeding, watering, turf renovation, equipment maintenance.

• Previous experience in golf course maintenance and equipment maintenance including, turf, irrigation, pesticide/fertilizer application, reels and engines is considered an asset.
• Formal education in turf or golf course maintenance, horticulture or other education relevant to the position would be an asset.
• Landscape Exterminator and Industrial Vegetation Exterminator pesticide licenses is considered an asset. Must be available to work weekends, shifts and overtime March to November (weather permitting). Ability to work with limited supervision and to work as part of a team. Ability to deal with the public courteously and effectively.
• Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. Successful applicants will be required to attend various training sessions throughout the spring. Working outdoors during all seasons and weather conditions.
• Exposure to grass, weeds, and other potential outdoor allergens and various insects.
• Requires bending, lifting heavy equipment and objects (up to 55 lbs), climbing, walking, pushing, sitting, standing and repetitive motion.

Hourly Rate/Salary: $24.69 - $27.56
